Job Description
Responsible for designing and executing experiments to support various innovation projects for cell culture media and growth supplement products.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute experiments to develop or optimize cell culture media and growth supplements for various human primary cells and cell lines.
- Maintain precise records and organize records of experiments.
- Analyze and report on data generated from experiments.
- Utilize perfect aseptic technique and display expertise in handling primary cells and cell lines.
- Design and execute analytical and cell culture-based functionality testing including cell growth assays for a variety of cell culture media.
- Troubleshoot experiment results for cells and media, raw materials, media formulation, product storage, and QC assays.
- Maintain stocks of chemicals, reagents, and supplies in the laboratory.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in cell culture and aseptic technique.
- Experience with handling various human primary cells and cell lines.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with cell growth assays.
- Knowledge in chemistry and biology.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Knowledgeable and compliant with all pertinent safety policies, rules, and regulations.
Work Environment
Work is performed in a shared laboratory space and in an office cubical environment. Some exposure to potentially hazardous chemicals is possible. Occasional extended daily or weekend hours may be required.
